Robert Cooper:

Mr Cooper served at the Cargill Corporation for nearly 35 years.
He began his career with Cargill Investor Services (the independent futures broker owned by the Corporation) before moving on to roles in commodities trading.

Beginning in 1987, Mr Cooper assumed his first role with Cargill Financial Markets as a fixed income relative value and arbitrage trader. In 1991, Mr Cooper assumed the role of designing and building a customized risk management platform for the global financial trading business, and was named head of London-based derivatives trading for Fixed Income and Equity products.
In 2004, Mr Cooper was named the Global Head of Risk Management for Black River Asset Management, a wholly-owned, independent subsidiary of Cargill; a position he held until his retirement in 2015. It was during this time that Mr Cooper worked with Mr Schatten on developing the risk management protocol that governs the Lynncroft trading strategy's risk engine.
Mr Cooper has served since 1995 as a Director and Chairman of the Investment Committee for the Cargill UK Pension Fund (approximately $1.5bln in AUM).
Mr Cooper received an MA in English Literature from Cambridge University - Sidney Sussex College
